The End for Popcorn at the Movies?
A recent owner of movie theaters in Britain has announced that he was going to ban popcorn from his theaters starting in September. Read the article here.

I, for one would opt out of movie theater outings and wait for DVD releases. I go out with the “girls” periodically and the highlight of our evening (besides a girls night out), is the POPCORN (throw a handfull of peanut covered M&M’s in your popcorn bag for a tasty surprise!) Sure it’s pricey, but no other popcorn beats it. So if popcorn were to be banned in my hometown movie theater, I would not pay the $10 it costs to see a movie in theaters.
In fact, I love movie theater popcorn so much so, that, some nights, I’ll stop and bypass the ticket counter, go to the concessions stand, purchase a large popcorn and head back home!!
I dont think i can stay at a movie without popcorn unless there is no other place without that movie. I liked this podcast because it is an interview with other people about popcorn in the movies.
