Fire Mummies of the Philippines
Perhaps the best podcast yet! Rebecca has volunteered to speak with us about the Fire Mummies of the Philippines.
Grade Six students watched an intriguing National Geographic video about mummies found in the hot, humid climate of the Philippines. Rebecca reminds us on where they were found, which cultural groups were involved, and how they mummified their relatives. A great listen!

It’s good. it doesn’t sound like the normal Rebecca. She was enthusiatic and put a lot of information into a small paragaph.

Wow! I never knew there were mummies in the Philipines. I was really surprised to learn that. That was some interesting information.
Woh, I never thought there would be mummies in the Philipines and this picture proved it. Also I think it was sort of cool of how they marked there rankings with tatoos. This video would be a good source of info for people who are interested in mummies. But was there actually a curse if you removed the mummies from the cave or is it just something the tribe believed in?
